Marketing and SEO for Elkhorn Businesses
316 Strategy Group is at 2701 N Main Street, in the middle of Olde Towne Elkhorn.
We do SEO, AI visibility, paid ads, websites, photography and video for businesses in Elkhorn, Bennington, Waterloo, Valley and across the Omaha metro. The phone number is 402.616.8277 and a person answers it.
We were downtown for years. We moved west on purpose.
We're on Main Street
We're next door to Coneflower Creamery and directly across the street from Boyd & Charlie's. Olde Towne is a real historic district — most of the buildings predate 1931, it's on the National Register, and there's an active Business Improvement District working on the sidewalks, the lighting and the events.
We picked a storefront over a suite in a tower. If you want to talk about your marketing, you can walk in and do that. That's most of the reason we're here.
Your Elkhorn Marketing Experts
What we do for Elkhorn businesses
Most of the work we do addresses a handful of problems faced by businesses large and small.
People are searching for what you do and finding someone else
That's search — your Google listing, your reviews, the pages on your site that answer what people actually type. It's unglamorous and it's usually where the fastest wins are. More on how we approach SEO.
AI is recommending businesses in your category and you're not one of them
Forty-five percent of people now use AI to find local businesses; a year ago it was six. We ran twenty questions about Elkhorn through ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok and published everything we found — including which businesses came up and which never did. This is the work we call AI visibility.
Your website is costing you customers instead of getting them
Slow, hard to use on a phone, or it doesn't say plainly what you do. We build sites that load fast and are honest about the business behind them.
You're spending on ads and can't tell what they're returning
Paid search and paid social, run so the reporting answers the only question that matters — what came back. More on how we run ads.
You don't know which of your marketing is working
Tracking and reporting. If you can't tell which half is wasted, you're guessing — and so is anyone you hire.
We Actually Know Elkhorn
Elkhorn was founded in 1865, platted in 1867 and incorporated in 1872. It spent the 1990s annexing its own neighbours specifically to make itself too big for Omaha to swallow, lost in court, and was annexed anyway on March 1, 2007. The last Elkhorn city council meeting was February 27, 2007.
People here still say they live in Elkhorn. The ZIP still says Elkhorn. The school district is still Elkhorn Public Schools. Legally it's Omaha; in every way that affects how a business gets found and talked about, it isn't.
The 68022 side of it is roughly 32,000 people, a median household income near $130,000, and about 61% of adults holding a bachelor's degree or higher — close to double the national rate. The businesses are strung along West Maple, 204th Street and Elkhorn Drive, with Olde Towne as the historic core and Village Pointe pulling from the east.
Elkhorn High, Elkhorn North, Elkhorn South and Mount Michael Benedictine. Elkhorn Days over Memorial Day weekend, out at Dillon Brothers at 175th and Maple, with a parade that comes right down Main Street past our front door. The West O Chamber over on Elkhorn Drive.
None of that is on this page to prove we did our homework. It's here because anyone who's run a business in this town for any length of time can tell in about one sentence whether the person pitching them knows where they are.

Who We Work With
We've had clients in Elkhorn for fifteen years. The address is new. The market isn't.
The range is wide on purpose. Some of our clients are one person and a truck. Others do over a billion dollars a year. The work looks different at those two ends, but it starts from the same question — can the people looking for you actually find you, and what happens when they do?
If you're a shop on Main Street, you are not too small for us. That's most of who we work with, and it's a large part of why we moved here.
Questions We Get Asked
Where is 316 Strategy Group located?
2701 N Main Street, Elkhorn, NE 68022 — on Main Street in Olde Towne, next door to Coneflower Creamery and across the street from Boyd & Charlie's. The phone number is 402.616.8277.
Is Elkhorn part of Omaha?
Legally, yes. Elkhorn was its own city from 1872 until March 1, 2007, when Omaha annexed it after a long court fight. It kept its postal address, its school district and most of its identity. If you mail something to 68022, USPS wants it addressed to Elkhorn, not Omaha.
Did you move from downtown Omaha?
We did. We've been on Jones Street for years, and we're moving out here in October 2026. Most of the businesses we like working with are on this side of town, and we'd rather have a storefront on a Main Street than a suite in a tower.
Do you only work with Elkhorn businesses?
No. We work across the Omaha metro and well beyond it. Elkhorn is where our office is, not a limit on who we work with.
How far will you be from downtown Omaha?
About 14 miles. Twenty to twenty-five minutes on West Dodge, depending on when you leave.
Do you work with businesses in Bennington, Waterloo and Valley?
Yes, and Gretna, Papillion, La Vista and Council Bluffs. The whole west and south metro is a short drive.
What does a small business in Elkhorn actually need for marketing?
Usually less than it's being sold. For most local businesses the honest starting list is: a Google listing that's accurate and gathering reviews, correct information in the directories that AI engines read, and a website that loads fast and says plainly what you do. Everything else is a second conversation.
Can I stop by?
Yes. Call first if you want a specific person, otherwise just walk in.
