Meet Brendan Smyth

Brendan received his degree in Electronic Media from Wayne State College in 2017 and has had a camera in his hands ever since. He has produced wedding films, documentaries, and promotional content for local and national clients. His portfolio includes projects that blend emotion, detail, and storytelling with a focus on helping businesses connect with their audiences.
Before joining 316 Strategy Group, Brendan owned a full-service video production company that specialized in commercial, event, and real estate video. He has also taught video production at the college level and looks forward to mentoring other members of the 316 creative team.
“Brendan brings years of experience and a true passion for storytelling. He is a builder, both creatively and culturally, and his leadership will take our video production to new heights,” said Alejandra Marquez, Director of Operations at 316 Strategy Group.
Brendan’s role is about more than shooting and editing. It is about continuing to elevate a video department that has become a standard of excellence in Omaha and throughout the Midwest.
“Video is one of the most powerful ways to connect a brand with its audience,” said Joseph Kenney, Founder of 316 Strategy Group. “Brendan’s experience and energy will help our clients tell stories that inspire action and trust. He will play a key part in our mission to stay ahead of creative and technological trends.”
A Passion for Creativity and Connection

Brendan has worked on video projects across the country and thrives on variety. He enjoys basketball, woodworking, and cooking when he is not behind the camera. He often says that the best part of his job is watching how the work we create impacts clients and changes their businesses in a positive way.
“There is a lot of excitement for the projects ahead,” Brendan shared. “It feels good to be part of a team that values quality, creativity, and purpose in everything we do.”
That optimism and drive are exactly what make Brendan the right leader for the next chapter of 316’s video production growth.
Moving Forward with Vision
316 Strategy Group’s reputation for excellence in video production continues to grow. With Brendan leading our video content division, our clients will gain access to expanded production capabilities, improved workflows, and innovative storytelling formats designed for modern platforms.
