316 Strategy Group Welcomes Evan Kenkel to Its Award-Winning Creative Team

OMAHA, NE – June 2025 — 316 Strategy Group, the digital media powerhouse behind some of the Midwest’s boldest brands, is proud to announce the addition of Evan Kenkel to our expanding creative team. Evan joins 316 as Content Creator and will play a key role in helping shape a new digital publication that celebrates life, culture, and business in the Great Plains.

From family-owned shops to billion-dollar brands and franchise empires, 316 Strategy Group has long built content strategies that drive attention and results. Since May 2024, our growth has experienced parabolic growth, including the completion of a new creative facility in downtown Omaha that has tripled in size since we opened a year ago. As our team scales, so does our commitment to expressive, human-centered storytelling — and that’s where Evan comes in.

“Evan brings a rare blend of curiosity, culture, and creativity that will resonate deeply with our audience,” said Alejandra Marquez, Director of Operations at 316 Strategy Group. “He has a storyteller’s instinct and a Midwestern heart — exactly the voice we need as we expand our in-house media capabilities.”

Born and raised in Omaha, Evan is an alum of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he studied education, languages, and literature. His love for language led him to Germany as a student, to Chengdu, China as an English tutor, and back to Germany through the prestigious Fulbright Program. After returning to Omaha, Evan spent nearly a decade working in some of the city’s most beloved locally-owned restaurants — soaking in the energy, flavors, and community stories that make the Midwest unique.

“I’ve always been drawn to the stories that don’t get told — the family behind the bar, the chef in the back, the muralist painting a city’s identity one brick at a time,” Evan shared. “Joining 316 gives me the creative space to spotlight the people and places that make Omaha, and the Midwest, truly one of a kind.”

Evan has already begun filming on location around Omaha for several original series in development and will help lead editorial and creative efforts on a new online media property owned by 316 Strategy Group. Expect more vibrant storytelling, local flavor, and creative innovation in the months ahead.
